I went to se Micheal Flatley in his new production Celtic Tiger at the Metro Centre last night with my mom. It was awesome but not as good as Lord of the Dance, I don't think he'll ever top that one. Lord of the Dance definatly has a more coherent storyline than Celtic Tiger and this one is much more Americanized (and by Americanized I mean: suits with American flags on them and a stripper in an American flag bra and underwear). Still, the stage and costumes were pretty cool. The stage had a big movie screen in the back that provided different backdrops throughout the show.
The three bad things about the show were the Americanization, Miceal Flatley not dancing a whole lot (cause he's old now, for a dancer), and the stripper. The stripper was, I think, I little unnessecary for a family show that you pay about $100 dollars to go to. Still, I can say that it's the first and last time I'll see a stripper with my mom.
All in all though, a great experience, I even got a really cool keychain (the cheapest thing there at $7, ouch).
