Today I had coffee with the girl who runs the Bible Study group that I've been going to. It was interesting because, while I think we differ quite significantly in our views of the Catholic church and our beliefs, I found that we really have a lot in common. We both are feeling like we're in a bit of a rut when it comes to school and that our degree choice has become pretty random. So then I started thinking more about that and how I ended up in Bio. Then I remembered that I was actually supposed to do Physics as my elective last year in FYP and by some weird malfunction in the computer I only registered for the lab and by the time it was all figured out that class was full, so I switched to Bio. Looking back, I think that was a pretty interesting twist of fate, because if that hadn't happened I probably wouldn't be doing Bio now. Which begs the question, what the heck would I be doing?
