a recap of my weekend

Friday was munroe day!!! Which means no school. Oh how I love made up holidays. So, out of respect to whoever Munroe is, I hopped on a bus on Thursday night and bussed my busy little self all the way down to exciting Antigonish. It was awesome to see Adrian after three weeks (!) but we had all these great plans to study like "we will spend all day saturday in the library". Didn't happen folks. But as he said, we rarely get to spend a good chunk of time together so it was nice to just hang out for awhile. So despite my having two midterms today (tuesday) and him having a paper due on Mnday and two midterms this week, we just hung out. So very relaxing. And then I got home and the crunch began! But first, a quick recap of my weekend:
Friday: Adrian had class so I studied...if by studied you mean hung out with my cousin and downloaded pointless songs by Gwen Stefani (who has human accessories?). Friday night we had supper at Ian's (mmm spaghetti) and then a group of us drove out to New Glasgow to see Million Dollar Baby, this movie is very depressing.....and Clint Eastwood really only has one way of acting. My personal favorite time of the weekend was this:
Adrian's weird friend talking about his girlfriend: "The only thing wrong with my girl is that she goes to that stupid hippe school."
Adrian: "What school would that be?"
AWF: "King's"
Saturday: we studied all day....if by all day you mean for two hours in the afternoon. The rest of the day was spent eating french toast at Adrian's nannies and going to Walmart. Walmart seems so out of place there...it's like the twilight zone. Oh we also went to lunch at the Sunshine, which is my favorite restaurant ever..sooo yummy.
Sunday: We went to look at the house that Adrian might be renting with Ian and Helen. And, it was kinda shady. In a leany, falling over kind of way.....but still cosy?? I don't know.
Luckily, despite my lack of studying my midterms went fairly well. I don't think I wrote enought for the Philosophy of Bio stuff (but really, how much can you say about units of selection?.....okay...a lot..). Terrestrial went pretty well though, actually the questions were all quite easy but I hate saying that because I'm afriad of jinxing myself so...knock on wood? Man, myLJ entries are always so rambly and pointless......next time a deep interesting essay on the meaning of life (but seriously, who really cares if the damn table is really there or not? As long as it holds up my food I'm happy).
