Not much going on...
Hello again!
I'm on holiday! But only for another two days... It sucks so bad that we only have one week of holidays. But then we finish before most other universities so I guess it's not all bad. Still, I don't want to go back to school on Monday.
I have to run my peripheral reading lab on Monday. It's cool that we get to do our own experiments and all, but I wish we could choose our own topics. You get so much more involved in reasearch if it's something you are interested in and not just some experiment you came up with to test a theory you don't care about. But I guess this is only practice for the big stuff next year. Still, I'm not looking forward to marking them all. Next year we'll write computer programs to do the experiments on. I so can't wait for next year. I bet it won't be as good as I think it will, but for now I can't wait and that's a good thing.
I went to Kmart and got some outdoor stuff yesterday. I decided we weren't going outside enough (which is fair enough since it's frickin freezing here most of the time...) so we went and got a soccer ball and other such things. It remains to be seen how often we will use them, but we'll never do it if we don't have them. So tomorrow Ivan's going to fix my soccer techniques and help me not to look like an idiot on the field and then we're joining a team....
I know. It's a big thing for me. But dancing lessons will be a big thing for him, and soccer is excersize, which is good for me. So we're going to play soccer socially, and do an OUSA dance course.
