Yay!
This is the first of many journal entries that will be written from the comfort of our lounge. We joined up with sling shot, and they've given us free dial up while they sort out the broadband.
We got a pretty sweet deal for the phone and internet. I'm happy. Living is expensive though. It does annoy me that you have to pay to hire the phone line on top of paying for the phone plan. I can understand cost of connection, but seriously, the lines are already there, if we don't use them, it's not like they can hire them to anyone else, so they're not exactly losing any money. Some people.
We're getting better at grocery shopping too. Last week didn't cost nearly as much as the forst time, and we got way more veggies and fruit and what not. So that's good. The only thing that sucks is that we have to carry all the stuff home on our backs. I hope the others will see the sense in getting a taxi when it's winter and rainging and what not.
Well, as exciting as all this is, there are better things to be doing with my new found internet.
