Back in Dunedin
Hello again!
I got back from Christchurch last night. I had a really good time. We visited Family, and saw movies and did lots of shopping and what not.
And I got to see Johnny again! Which was cool. This means I've seen him twice this year, which is like a record or something. We made melting heart muffins, which have a big glob of melted chocolate in the middle... Mmmm... We had so much fun. Johnny made me drop it all in the middle of mixing and run outside to see the moon, which we couldn't see anyway. So that was poos. Lots of laughing though. He's coming up in January to play a bunch of shows for about a week then go to Parachute, where he's playing. He gave me a free cd of his band which was awesome! He's going to play at the Dog's Bollocks on the Saturday, so I figured we could all go watch him, I might invite Jamie and his girlfriend too, I think they'd get along really well. I'd like to see them play live, I've only ever watched the video thingies he's sent me.
We visited Grandma as well, which is always funny. (Dad's mum) She's unbelievably paranoid. She was trying to tell me why she wasn't sending money in the mail anymore and she said (not direct quote, can't remember exact words...) "I don't want to send money in the mail anymore, because people who see it might think I'm rich. I know that there are drugs out there and I know that it's really easy to get caught up in the drug scene, and I understand that (at which point Mum and I are going... What...? where are you going with this...?) but I don't want anyone to think that my grandchildren have a rich grandma incase they get caught up in a drug scene and I might get taken hostage to pay for drugs"
Yep, that's what she said. Doesn't want to send us money incase she gets taken hostage by drug lords.
I don't mind that she doesn't send us money, she has hundreds of grandchildren and six great grandchildren, she'd have no money left for living! But that's a bit out there.
My cousin just had twin girls! They're about 8 weeks old and they're so cute! Fraternal!! On my dad's side!! That's 2 sets of fraternal twins on my dad's side! Means there's more of a chance for me to have some! I want twins!
Well... I'm just procrastinating... I need to go interview Tony and Jess.
