There is TOO much sugar in our diets. Check the ingredients for everything in your supermarket trip and you'll see, there's sugar (er, high fructose corn syrup) in things that aren't even *supposed* to be sweet. Six months after I cut sugar out of my diet I stopped being hypoglycemic. It's something to think about.

mmm it's true. I <3 candy so so so so much. I can eat a pound of those sour belts and gummy worms and sprees and.. whatever else you can get at Sweet Factory in one sitting - delicious! :) Luckily I don't do that too often, and I've been trying to switch over to cooking maybe 1/2 of our foods.

Just this morning (before reading this) I was in the kitchen getting coffee (with sugar) and I commented out loud to those in the kitchen that I didn't know what was more necessary - the coffee or the sugar to which I got the reply, they are equally necessary.
