(no subject)
I was asking for new music suggestions. But in the past few days i've downloaded maybe a week's worth of music. Whoops.
Finally got stitches out of my mouth.
Also got tickets for Guadalajara.
I've said this a bunch. But after having my trip canceled I just want to go home.
I should be back home in about a month.
I'm trying to organize it so that my drive trough the south coincides with Jennifers trip to Florida. Then we could both make our way back up north.
Meanwhile just enjoying the cheap food and mild weather.
I feel a little guilty that I'm not making the most of my trip. I feel like everyone has this idea that I'm in an exciting country. But this is the equivalent of going to your grandmas house. I know this town pretty well, so it's hard to look at it as a new exciting place. I enjoy it, I love it. But it's nothing new.
Latest musical obsessions. Weekend Nachos "unforgivable". Tommy McCook. Trojan Records box sets. The Assassinators. Chuck Berry. Poison Idea. Rudimentary Peni. Prince. Skip James. Clifton Chenier.
Also finally came around to Fear, Ramones (again), and Jawbreaker (i use to hate them).
I was really into a blues kick, then a reggae/ska kick, now i want to try out some soul. Since I really like that older reggae/ska stuff. A lot of it pretty much is soul. It's just hard to pick a genre and pick its most popular artist. There's a whole world of nerdery I need to be introduced to. Like I did with ska/reggae and trojan records.
