today felt so good
i took a math test....without knowing about it....and i think i got a 100
in other news.....i was so worried about practice today, cause we were doing timed runs, the 800 in particular....i was so worried, i didn't want to get beat by kelly or taylor or jillian or anyone, so i was so nervous.....but then i always get nervous right before i run my first 800 of the year....i don't want it to be bad, i want to start off good...and i'm afraid of the feeling.....i love that feeling, but its so overpowering its almost scary
so anyways, it was great. i missed "that lovin feelin ooooooo that lovin feelin"...seriously though...i missed it. i got a 2:39 and i wasn't tryin that hard, it was nice. of course i made my DUMB mistake, i slowed down on the backstretch of the second lap, dumb dumb amy. but i picked up on it before i normally do, so hopefully i wont do it. i talked to ms. b afterwards and she said for the first lap i was on pace for a 2:31!!!!!sooo when i'm not sore and i fix my problem on the backstretch i'll be ok :)
this is my little thing to the guys now.....you guys had an awesome season you finished 18-3, you were district champs, you were ranked 7th in the state...be proud of all you've done. and i know it stings and it may take awhile to get over, but you will. learn from it. move on. don't be miserable like me for three weeks. anyways.....I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!! you made your school proud! so don't be down too long.
and on that note i'd like to introduce something new to my journal...i was thinkin about all the people i meet, and how when i'm old i'd like to remember them....so i'm gonna write about one of them each time
this week is....coach marzden...i met him through reffing and hes so cool....he knows a lot about soccer, he used to play professionally i think.even if he didn't he still knows a lot about the game. hes helping jessi right now with her game, she'll go out and work with him, so she can get ready for college. but he knows his stuff. and hes always trying to help out. hes so nice..he buys gatorade for jess and i when we're dead tired from reffing, and he'll tell us stories from when he played...ok, hold on i'm doin this so i remember peoples.....so letskinda describe him....taller than me, hispanic black, grey hair, pot belly...i'm not tryin tobe mean, so no one should take offense...but anyways hes a great guy whos been there and seen it all about soccer. it makes me wanna play soccer like him....or run track and know as much as he knows about soccer
