well then
last week i went to SC for orientation. it was fun, i guess. kinda overdone. too much information at once, too much trying to make us feel welcome. however, i did get my schedule (acad101, intro to sport management, psych101, math105, writ101(which i'll hopefully test out of), hist101), i did get to meet my coach (think epstein with more organization and more likely to make us work), i met one of my teammates (lisa marie pres...ti..something or other-she's from texas and was a member of the state champion cc team...however she was on jv-aaahhh the benefits of txrunning.com)
the way up was long. the way home was long. on the way home we got in an accident. then the air conditioning broke somewhere in GA. so all in all the ride home was worse.
friday was ok....worked 7.75 hours...not fun.....but i did get to see angela, katie, and caleb....they actually were there to see dj....but hey they saw me too....which is more than other people see me. ummm....o saturday...the gate broke at work so i had to sit outside and collect people's money. which was nice....it was cloudy so it wasn't so hot and there were ice pops, and the lifeguards actually came and talked to me.
yesterday didn't do much. watched some of the braves game, went outside and did the pool and tried to tan. when i got done vacuuming the pool i sat outside and like 5 minutes later it started to poor-so i go inside and leave my suit on hoping the sun will come out....well guess what it came out when i changed....just my luck.....then i watched the track meet...hazel clark won the 800. yay. omg!!!!!i almost forgot us women's soccer was on tv. so i got to watch that. see some of the new faces, its weird. i miss my heroes...the ones i've looked up to since i was like 8. but o well, they had to retire sometime.
and with that i'm out...i have to go get ready work.
