bloggy names?

hello learned friends!

so i've decided that i'm going to make some sort of blog about rochester for the general public to see, because this place is like slo-mo bedlam - it's random and rust belty and ridiculous, and deserves to be given shoddy, opinionated documentation moreso than it's currently getting (they don't seem so keen on the blogs up here, perhaps because it's difficult to blog while driving drunk or earning NY state's highest homicide rate). i have therefore decided that it is up to me to produce such haphazard and askew documentation, for rochester's greater good and occasional amusement.

hence, i come asking you all for advice and good names, the sort of names that would inspire someone to type said names into a web browser and add ".blogspace.com". too many years of working at a record store seem to have warped my brain into thinking that any and all names must sound like they could be an emo band's debut album title, hence my first ideas "remember the sun" and "the adequate lakes".*

here are some other ideas of varying quality: "tightening the rust belt", "words for snow"... okay, well, that's about it because i'm tired. any suggestions for other names? or just for things you'd like to see on there? i'll pretty much use it for more "public" things or rochester-specific things, and keep bombarding you with long but intermittently posted private stuff here.

thanks for any feedback!

p.s. i cut my finger today in a very space-case moment. it's fine now, thanks to the power of coagulation, but be careful with your scissors, folks, and don't use them to open boxes when you should be using small knives or actual boxcutters.

*On a related note, I also have become adept at "conceptual" band names. For instance, why has no one used the name "Social Disease" yet? It would be a brilliant post-punk or noise band name.
Picture two hipsters in their natural habitat:
Experimental Haircut: "So, have you picked up the new 'Social Disease' yet?"
Too-tight pants: "Uh, yeah, I have. Oh, wait - is that the name of a band?"
-or-
Too-tight pants: "Yeah, totally! It's harsh, but really catchy at the same time." **

**why did i suddenly start using capitalization in the previous footnote?

names, blog, rochester
