about the first two lines, my sister and my neice woke up. lainie is almost two, that's why her voice is very high pitched. carrie is 21. cigarettes & crack-cocaine have made her voice lower and scratchier.

but no really, at least the cigarettes have. i'm not 100% sure about the crack-cocaine

also, my real name is caitlin. lots of people call me cait, and we figured that would be easier for lainie to say than caitlin. but she couldn't pronounce cait either, so she and now everyone else in my family, calls me cake
