Ok, so let me talk/think about something else
So a friend messaged me earlier.
I'll call them "A."
It had been over 13 years since I last talked to A, I think.
I was still with my asshole ex at the time.
I'm surprised A still remembered all that.
I even forgot some things, and I'm usually really good at remembering.
Anyways, it felt good talking to an old friend.
A kept hinting at doing lunch.
Dunno if that would be possible with my little menace.
But it would be nice to catch up in person.
Talking to A made me think about our middle school days.
Wow, was it really middle school?
Remembering how A was then when we were kids to up until our adulthood and present...
They haven't changed a bit.
Sigh.
I sure do miss the simple, stress-free days of life.
Sometimes being a grown up sucks donkey balls.
Well, now that I can't think of anything else to write, there goes my distraction.
Maybe I'll go back to reading more entries from my younger self.
Hopefully that'll help to keep my mind off things for a while.
