I'm freezing. This computer lab always has the A/C set to a REALLY cold temperature...
I can't believe that there is only 3 weeks left! Like at the beginning of this week, 4 weeks left sounded exactly right, but now, 3 weeks sounds so entirely wrong! I mean I've been so busy, I haven't been able to imagine what it's going to be like to have to say good-bye to my friends, roomates, proctors, teachers, TFs, tutors, I mean goodness! I can't imagine that in 3 weeks, I'm never going to see these people again. It's a really sad thought, but on top of it, there's a bunch of stress on these 4 exams ( of which 2 are finals) that I have in the next 3 weeks!
Last night was soo much fun. Stefani ( my Greek friend in my pre-cal class) and I went to the Math center to check/ do our homework. That way I wouldn't have to go to Jennifer's office hours the next morning as I always do, EVERY morning. I must have had a lot of sugar, but we were laughing so much! And we like drew little smiley faces on Jennifer's mail slot in the Math Center. Hmm... I know I'm going to miss Jennifer a lot. I think it's kinda like how everyone felt about Mrs.Paris (s/p?) like everyone loved her. But, I'm never going to see Jennifer again.
so, anways, it took us like 3 hours (till 10:30) to get like only 20 problems done, but in the end we did finish and I DIDN'T have to go to office hours!
Today I went to Harvard Medical School. It's across the Charles River and about 20 minutes by bus away from Harvard Square (campus). I was BREATH-TAKING! When you get off the bus, you turn to your left and there are these 4-5 HUGE, beautiful, white buildings surrounding a courtyard. They look like palaces or something, something you'd see in a fictional world.
Oh, and the reason I came up there was to see one of my mom's old students from Bilkent University ( in Turkey). He is doing research on diabetes and obesity at one of the labs at the Harvard School of Public Health. I actually never met him, but he knows my mom, so he showed me their lab and gave me some insight into the medical field. It seems OK, only if you really want to go Medical, though.
On the way there, the bus went through MIT. It is really nice as well. I didnt' see a whole lot, but I saw like 2-3 labs and the ofcourse a huge library. I definitely want to explore MIT as well one weekend.
I lost my eraser! The one that has like all this writing on it, including "Sean is the Sex" and "Good luck on your Driving Test". Ha... good times, good times. So, I'm going to have to buy a new one.
Tomorrow is the day I've been looking forward to...
