Cam & Mad got me thinking about the due date and google gave me tons of results: the month of February for first single/video, release on March 20, then there's the May 14, oh yeah...and December 31 in the year 2089!!!!
"Rolling Stones article in December: Maroon 5
DUE OUT SPRING 2007
RECORDED IN LOS ANGELES
WITH THE FOLLOW-UP TO THEIR multiplatinum 2002 debut "Songs About Jane," which featured radio staples "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved," Maroon 5 are trying to throw off their "nice-guy" rep. "People tend to think we're really mainstream and poppy, but we're @#%$ weird, says frontman Adam Levine. "Our first record didn't hit as hard as we'd like." The as-yet-untitled new album-produced by Mike Elizondo, who has worked with Fiona Apple, Eminem and others - aims for a harder edge. The band soaked up some weird karma by recording at the Houdini mansion in L.A., which owner Rick Rubin converted into a recording studio and where Red Hot Chili Peppers recorded the 1991 classic BloodSugarSexMagik. Levine describes "Wake Up Call" as a darker version of "This Love," and "Back at Your Door" was inspired by Carole King - not exactly head-banging material. "It's definitely aggressive, upbeat and pounding," says Levine. "But we're not @#%$ Slipknot."
yeah, i'll pass on Slipknot.
