Wow, what a holiday season!
I have to admit, it was kinda weird leaving home and my family for the first time for Christmas, but it was a blast. My time with the Tiffany family was great, and full of adventures. I took the train into NYC and met Matt, then we took the LIRR out to his hometown. We had lots of fun dinners with his family, in addition to a day trip to NYC full of shopping and tons of walking. We even went to Birdland, where we sat front and center to see George Coleman perform. We also managed to squeeze in going out for sushi and an afternoon walk on the beach. I'll need to post some of those pics somewhere, they're amazing.
Then it was back to Carlisle for New Year's- to be read "barhopping and fireworks in the rain." It was a wicked happy evening though.
Now it's been back to work, and running around on job interviews. The job at LGH wasn't really what I was looking for (I know, I'm an IDIOT, but I wasn't going to commit myself to a full year of evening shift and no life. The extra money wasn't worth it.), so I'm still looking. I don't know why I feel the need to get another job, aside from the money... and just the constant urge to be MORE.
Time to chill. Grey's dvds are calling.
