(no subject)
Hey all,
Friday I went to semi and it was so amazing. Everyone there looked gorgious and I can't wait to see our grade there; it's gonna be so wierd seeing everyone all dressed up.
Yesterday, I went with my dad and Nana to see the herring run. It was so much fun in the pouring rain. The only problem was that the state or something had just come three days ago with a big truck and took 3,000+ herring up stream because they were all having trouble with the fish ladders. It was a lot of fun anyways though because my dad is creating a model to help decide which dams should be taken down and basically most of them should but because some have "high community value" I lot of them can't/won't be...oh well. I just feel bad for the fish who get stuck. Anyways we met this guy at the oldest mill site in the country out in Plimouth because he was supposed to have a herring run and fish fry festival. I felt bad for him though because it was raining and the fish weren't running because of the trucks so that worked out perfectly for him...not. It was alright though because he got runners ding the "herring run" an annual road race. All in all it was a lot of fun.
Then last night I went out with Mike and his family to see Joey and Maria's comedy italian wedding which was hilarious. I think we might go the their sopranos show also which would be amazing.
So today is mothers day and my Nana is still here so we got her a birthday cake because it was her birthday a little while ago and right now she and my dad are out looking at the rivers at flood point. The merrimack is supposed to be 14 feet above flood level by something like tuesday. So if you live near the river like on Quinobequin in Waban then empty your basement. I think it's really exciting as long as nobody gets hurt then it's amazing! The Charles is only supposed to go up a few week so don't worry too much. I'm pretty sure that I'm not gonna have any games all week :( My game for this past saturday was canceled on friday afternoon! Oh well...all it means is a longer season :D and thats fine by me!
I should probably go do homework right now...more likely go to sleep...hmmmm....
