It was Chucks Birthday last night and to celebrate we went out for Japanese at Yoshi Sushi in Mira Mesa. In attendance was Chuck Mom, Amanda (his daughter), Chris (his son) and myself. After dinner we all sang Happy Birthday, getting most of the restaurant filled with Japanese to sing along, and then we passed out gifts. I got him the new Dawn of the Dead on DVD and the old House on haunted hill on DVD (which was only a buck at Best buy). Anyway, my mom pulled out this HUGE bag and gave it to Chuck. Inside were these Skeletons in a bride and groom outfit that would sing "I got you babe" and the "Perfect Woman" doll that would say stuff like "Your so smart, you should be running the company" or "Why don't you invite the guys to play poker, I'll make sandwiches and serve beer all night". In my mind I imagined the skeletons and the perfect women coming alive once everyone was asleep and plotting their death like chucky. That would be a great movie.
All the Japanese people inside the restaurant were looking at us like we were crazy but the funniest thing was when my mom showed the dolls to the cook behind the sushi bar. He bobbed his head from side to side along with the singing skeletons and laughed but you could tell he didn't really understand why it was supposed to be funny.
Here they are
Amanda, Me, Chris and Chuck in the back.
After dinner I went home and played co-op halo on X-box with Richard and talked about Lesbian Porn. Then I went to bed.
I picked up Jem's CD, Finally Woken, and I've been listening to it all day. It's great stuff. You can listen to her at
