Fear and Loathing in Viejas...

I went to Viejas on Saturday night with Adam, Debbie and Jamie. It really is one of the most depressing places I've ever been to (unless I'm winning of course). The worst part is the slot machines. Hundreds of old fat slobs sitting there with a vacant stare mindlessly pressing the same button over and over again. A bright yellow cord going from their belt loop to their member card inside the machine, like a reverse umbilical cord, draining their life and more importantly thier money. It may sound like I'm ranting but I talked to a women who put $100 into a slot machine and had been there for 3 hours. She was down by $50. On a happy note Jaime won $80 in the first 10 minutes at slots. So i guess its not all bad.

I spent sunday at home. Played Psy-Ops for X-box and continued unpacking all the stuff from storage while listening to Eminem's new album, Encore, that Richard burned for me. I'm not sure how he got it since it doesn't come out until the 17th. It's good, different but still good. I haven't decided if it's better then The Eminem Show but if your a fan of his stuff you'll like it.

Something that I couldn't help thinking while listening to it was that he is testing his limits. Some of the songs have liquid sounds of someone taking a crap and random burping, and there isn't anything as catchy as some of his previous hit singles. I think he is either trying to stifle his fame or to see how much he can get away with and still sell millions. MY guess is that it will be one of the top selling albums of the year.

oh yeah, my mom doesn't think I'm eating enough so she got me a gift card for the grocery store so that I would eat more. =P
