(no subject)
Haven't talked about Leo in a while. Well we have been talking over the phone here and there. I do not condone any friendship between us but as he once said a long time ago, "The best way to show someone that you're over them is to be friends with them."
Now, I am more than sure that is a bunch of bullshit but was able to use it against him by ensuring that a cordial chat every once so often is a strong indicator of my getting over him. My full recovery from the arduous finale of the Alexandria and Leonardo era.
I have not been feeling as lonely as usual. The diet has been going well and when I went out after we won the National Championship I met some guys then. Which was nice because I had a T-shirt and gouchos on without any make-up and was sick as a dog aka I looked like shit. Raul, the boricua, took me out to eat at Green Plaintains which was AMAZING and introduced me to Mofongo, yum! I also had some Dominican-style rice called Locrio. Yum! Then he cooked me food the next day but went to the wrong building to deliver it to me. Too bad, too, cause I was sleeping and would have loved to awake to some Puerto Rican food!
My buddy Jabari cooked some curry chicken and delivered it to me tonight, and it is amazing like whoa. I will have to somehow con the recipe out of him if he doesn't give it up willingly.
So yeah, I gotta do some cardio and sit-ups and get to bed cause I gots an early ass class in the morning and a long ass lab that follows.
