TROY: THE MOVIE
Just got back from seeing Troy, and it wasn't as good as i was hoping. I really wanted to like it, and i thought that the acting and the plot were fine. Unfortunately, the direction was totally shitty and completely focused on: how many computer animated soldiers, buildings, fires, ships, and explosions can we fit into one minute and a half panoramic shot? It was a let down because, with a different director, it could have been an awesome movie, but whatever. Then I went out to dinner with the folks and got lectured on all sorts of bullshit for an hour by my dear mother...hooray!
