"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed."
President Dwight D. Eisenhower
April 16, 1953

george bush's state of the nation was almost laughable...in a sick and depressing way...

you know what, you could do something about it. get out there, and be active and change things, because you obviously feel strongly (as do i) about our current president. Talk is nothing if it isn't backed by actions

i write a lot of letters to senators and stuff...other than that, i don't do as much as i should because i'd rather be playing guitar and stuff honestly. but if somebody perhaps more active than myself called me up and told me what to do...that would be another story, i just don't go out of my way to find rallies and stuff like that.

well it's good you do what you can, like writing letters to our senators and such. One thing i find hard, is trying to get involved in change when i feel like adults (teachers at NW) are so damn condescending, because of course what the hell do i know, im only 15. Strange how that works, hypocracy on so many levels?

holy shit, i totally know what you're talking about. the people don't give a fuck about what any of the kids think at nw. it pisses me off, they know that they can do pretty much whatever the hell they want and that if you finally get fed up and leave, they can just replace you anyway. its so goddamn annoying, plus we don't have any activities besides sports, which sucks.

excuse me, but i'm not partisan, thank you very much. i currently believe that the democratic party is a pile of immobile shit, and i also support john mccain.
