movies...

ok, i'm just going to say this so there is no more discussion, the incredibles was a terrible movie. really, it was stupid, boring as hell, horribly dumb, and most importantly, not funny, whatsoever. And no, the part where the dumbass baby turns into some lame-as-fuck devil wasn't funny either, at all, not funny. You want a funny movie, go rent Dude Where's My Car, or A Night At the Roxbury, or Dumb and Dumber, or Dirty Work, or Office Space, all funny movies, and there are plenty more where that came from. A few GOOD movies i have seen recently: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (really really cool plot, awesome acting, good directing and a well made film overall), Maria Full of Grace (not as good as the other two i'm mentioning here, but still a well done movie, most notable for the performance of the lead actress), Noi (this is possibly my favorite movie, a hauntingly beautiful movie about a 17 year old boy stuck in an Icelandic fishing village. his life is going nowhere, he is an outcast both physically and mentally, undecided as to whether he is a genius or idiot, the principle expels him from school. it takes a disaster before he is able to see a future and move towards a new life. the most artistic and beautifully edited and put together film i have ever seen. the direction is absolutely amazing, and more importantly, it's a movie that really makes you think. i've seen it twice and would love to see it again. if you have any shred of respect for my opinions on anything, you will do me a favor and rent this movie.) other movies i really like: Igby Goes Down, the Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys, Goodwill Hunting, Garden State, Army of Darkness, ...etc.

finished hanging lights on the christmas tree, good times.

oh, went to the snowboard instructor's clinics today, it was alright. for those of you that were wondering, there was no snow, just about 8 inches of completely bulletproof ice. at least the kids there are cool I.E. colin schafer is there, which is awesome.
