I'm a married woman
Rachel and I got married last Friday, February 24th.
I'll just call myself out before Rach does it for me....I cried....like a femme. But I was not the only one....so did my Mom, my cousin J, my best friend Julie, and Number 8. What do ya want from me it was the happiest day of my life.
Anyways our ceremony was short but it was sweet. The J.P was really nice. After the ceremony we headed to Jillian's to meet up with some more friends. Rachel won me a big ass Gizmo (from the Gremlins) stuffed animal.
We went to the Highlands inn, its a lesbian resort for our honeymoon. We got the cottage, they came in before we got there and decorated for us, they hung a big banner that said congratulation and left us a basket with champaigne and chocolates and random little toys & candies. There was a concert up there...Emily Nyman, Rachel and I hadn't ever heard of her but she was pretty good, we even won her cd. There was a big L Word party on Sunday night, just a bunch of dykes hanging out in the main inns living room watching our favorite weekly drama. And I'm not even going into details about the hot tub ;-) Tegan even got to come away with us.
I definately want to bring Rachel back every year for our anniversary.
