Happy Independence Day!
Now to celebrate, we shall rape and pillage the women and homes of the land we're liberating. Or finding imaginary nuclear weapons in. Same difference, right?
I support the military for the most part because while a lot of them chose to fight, not many of them chose what to fight for. However, incidents like these (which I pray to God are isolated) just jade me. It's already been domestically and internationally established that the entire war is erroneous, and yet we continue to throw egg in our own faces.
And don't get me started on Corzine. I did vote for him, so I can blame a bit of this current predicament on myself. I figured a good Senator would make a decent governor. All apologies, everyone. I just really want to know the purpose of closing lotteries, beaches, and casinoes. God knows that's where a good deal of state income comes from, and isn't that the problem to begin with? "We don't have a budget to beat the deficit, so here's what we'll do. We'll stop making money." Does he think that the state can go into bankruptcy and get debt forgiveness? It doesn't work that way with governments, Gov'na. No sir.
Sad, just very, very sad.
