Nicaragua
First of all my girlfriend chewed me out through email because I don’t update enough. And I know she is the one that my heart belongs to because I got chills and then I got to typing. That being said I will do a better job of updating.
Well Nicaragua,
What I beautiful country, it has some of if not the most beautiful countryside I have ever seen. On the way to Granada, Nicaragua I saw the brightest and most defined rainbow I have laid my eyes on in quite sometime. I took so many pictures of clouds and sunrises and set. Pictures of old buildings and statues. How old is the United States? What a couple of hundred years or so. I seen things that were at least that old and there were a couple of things that I touched like those stone statues in that museum in Granada that had to be almost a thousand years old. Just don’t tell anyone that I touched them the sign said not to. Oh well!!! Civil wars and foreign invasions and things of that nature have ravaged the country. It is also very poor. So a typical day in Nicaragua could and often times did yield to you feeling incredible highs from having seen something that only Nicaragua can show. For example the sunrise over largo San Juan. Afterwards you could be left counting your blessings because the problems that a lot of the Nicos face had me thanking the lord for my petty problems. Along with the some of the most beautiful scenery I saw some of the most beautiful people reduced to begging for money in the streets. What I humbling experience. All in all I learned a lot this weekend and I enjoyed the experience.
