Edit: found another photo that is nice, but not very clear either - it's taken at the masquerade in indoor lighting, so the colours are pretty much gone and the sharpness is less than stellar.
All right, so the photos from the past Saturday are... entertaining, but not great as far as the costumes go:
It's a pity they are in black and white, too. The badge on the cap and sleeve are dark blue with gold, the buttons are bronze with a grey tint or oxide overlay and the shirt is blue-grey, but otherwise there honestly isn't much colour missing in these photos. A wore a slightly fancier version of his
Ingenmansland clothes.
And yes, we had fun. I'm stone cold sober here, but as usual I don't look it. I'll have to get someone to take proper ones of the uniform. Photos © Micke Lundgren, except the first one which was taken by my old friend M.
On another note, I read that Rocket Room are going for a "no characters later than 1959" Halloween theme, so now I'm thinking of scrapping the Fru Draake costume - in favour of what I don't know, options so far include Hercule Poirot, which I probably could do, but not very well, and I would want to do him justice in that case; or I might just give up and wear something boring and pretty instead. Drat!
