I've taken tons of pictures, mostly in the Botanical Garden. Here's a selection of the few I've taken elsewhere:
I was constantly in awe of the sky scrapers. We went to the subway in a suburb where there are all those wooden houses and huge parking places, and when we finally came out, in the Theater District, two hundred meters high buildings loomed over us. It was amazing. (BTW, in Ruby Roo's, the restaurant on the right, they make excellent sushi.)
But of course there's also Greenwich Village or China Town where the architecture is some hundred years old and if it weren't for the fire escapes it would feel almost like London. Also, do you see the tree behind the young man? That's Ginkgo, which is as far as I could see the most common tree in NY.
This is an irish pub across from the hotel we were staying in.
The last two pictures were taken in Central Park: my favourite place, the Shakespeare Garden, and an american squirrel.
