Can anyone PLEASE explain to me why, if you ask a guy a question, he blatantly takes it to mean that you want his opinion on EVERY POSSIBLE tangential facet of the question?????????????????? I mean, seriously, if I ask something as straightforward as: Have you heard anything about a prof? This DOES NOT inherently imply that I want your opinion about the prof, the prof's educational background, their potential interest or disinterest in the course and it's subject matter along with whatever other little minute details you feel this question allows you to expound on. Christ! This is a cross-examination question! Yes or No will suffice. If I require or desire anything more than one of those two more than acceptable answers, I will then ask you a question that will elicit said information. THIS MAKES ME ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not EVER presume that just because I've asked something like that, that you inherently have some RIGHT to foister your opinion on me! ESPECIALLY NOT if I've repeatedly told you that your concerns (which are in BLATANT REFERENCE TO YOURSELF!!!!) DO NOT CONCERN ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
