2007 in review

usually my memory about things like stuff that happened throughout a year is easy to remember but i can't really tell if im trying to block stuff out or if im really just getting old and forgetful.

i guess i'll think of whatever highlights and work my way down but i can't guarantee 100% accuracy or chronological order.

good stuff:
-getting network+ certified
-flying to san francisco by myself was neat (even if the flight was like 90 minutes)
-going to hawaii with my family for my parents' anniversary
-reconnecting with old friends
-gaining new friends
-parties/club and bar nights with the crew
-getting a newer car (not exactly new but better than that shitty rodeo)
-being the designated driver
-evo west was amazing even just spectating but actually winning 2 matches for cvs2 was crazy. i need to step my game up for sure.
-trying to be a hip hop head
-chargers
-incubus concert

bad stuff:
-still not having a job
-daily struggle with health
-lost connections with some friends
-no girlfriend or even attempting to talk to one for that matter
-extended family drama
-inconsiderate fuckheads
-missing people
-firestorm 2007

kinda sad to think i can sum up the year like this but this is pretty much how it went at least in my eyes. i think what's preventing me from being more detailed about it is that im very hopeful to turn my year around. i wont say these are resolutions so much as they are aspirations but i might as well write it down so i can check back to see if i've accomplished them or not by this time next year.

-get a job which will lead to:
-new computer
-new tv
-consoles (yes all i have is a ps1)
-financial independence
-nice things

-be more responsible which leads to:
-help out more around the house
-take care of my dog better
-take care of myself better
-relieve the stress my parents have from working

-be a better person which leads to:
-meeting more and new people
-getting a girlfriend
-improving current friendships/relationships
-setting an example for others
