Such an exciting day...
The only thing this three-day weekend has done for me is made my Mondays even more boring than they usually are. Granted, I didn't have to go to my only class today, which happens to be at 9am, but it would at least give me a reason to leave the apartment. Plus, Mondays are one of the days when I go to the gym. Bleh.
Let's see what I've accomplished thus far this weekend... Well, I managed to do a slight bit of cleaning. See, my plan was to do some heavy-duty cleaning while Joel and Brenda were gone for the weekend, but that kind of fell through due to my extreme laziness. I did manage to clean my bathroom, however. WOO!
My parents bought themselves a new computer this weekend. I don't know the exactly specs, but I think it's safe to say that it's far and away better than mine. I should just give them my computer and jack their new one. Honestly, do they really need a 3.0 GHz processor or 200 GB hard drive? I think not. Along with that, they got wireless cable internet, which means I'll be able to use my own computer when I go home, provided they buy me a wireless card, which they plan to. Yay for faster internet!
So, Goose got all the stuff cleared up with his insurance company (meaning they're compensating us for the stuff that got stolen over the break) and we went out and bought a whole mess of games and a new X-Box. Sadly, no one had any new PS2's in stock, so I'll have to wait a while to play Metal Gear Solid 3, which I got for Christmas. Bad planning on my part for not bringing my OWN PS2 from home. Oh well. Plenty of other games to play.
I'd talk about World of Warcraft, but that would do nothing but make me angry and bitter. So, I simply say: fuck Blizzard. I hate them.
