Good day people, welcome to another exciting post in this journal. The last couple of days have been rather interesting, but I think I should keep some of the details to myself. However, I can let you know that now it's SURE I'll be going back and that you can find me a happy man about it. I am all for adventures and cynicism upon my return.
It's rather interesting to observe the current situation at home. The price levels are climbing like a bitch as the dollar loses value. A very fashionable thing for banks to do right now is to offer Savings Accounts in Euros. I must admit I am somewhat tempted to jump on the bandwagon with whatever little money I have left after my surgery. Yes, I am gonna get a surgery performed in Bolivia. No, I am not going to die...well, maybe...but the price was really good.
It's interesting for me to see how ridiculous poverty is here after three years in which I've met welfare recipients who still wonder what kind of hairspray they are going to fucking buy. It's not very easy to see this asymmetric universes and still think anything positive about income redistribution programs. Furthermore, it crushes my heart to see micro-manufacturers in my country being the most efficient businessmen in the whole economy and be regulated off their asses. I am almost sure at this point that government is the main cause of poverty (at least here). Anyway, the days here have been full of adventures and friendly excursions lately. I have a great new band. I'll post something on YouTube as soon as tunes are ready.
