So what happen's when it all goes black again?

Ok, so I'm on a new shift now. So I think it'll take a week or so to get used to it, but I do feel a little more well rested even though I didn't sleep as much last night. Maybe it has something to do with going to bed when it's dark, thought it may be not long before the sun comes up... it still feels like night. I suppose that would help. We tried flying last night, but it was a short one. Minor details when you have a helmet fail. Kinda important at night in this helicopter. All in all it went well. I had a lot of radio stuff to do last night anyway so it all worked out nicely.

One thing that is kinda getting old and isn't that hard to fix is really starting to get to me. You ready??? Information flow. I don't know what the hell they teach officers in ROTC or West Point or OCS, but damn. How hard is it to tell someone you're flying when you know damn well they don't come to work on a day off, and chose to take a shorter rest period than required to make things easier on them. I don't think it can be that hard seeing as how the average attack/scout platoon leader is in charge of very few people. Oh and they're warrants! So it's not like we're even that hard to find. Work, gym, aircraft, bed. One of those. I know they picked me out of highschool to do this, so I guess it's easy to say they must've been hurting. But this is getting rediculous. Well, I'm off to work now. Take it easy.

Later~
