Okay, so it's been a long ass time since I've posted. I moved to Germany finally on March 29th. I love it here, but I'm glad to be a pilot living here or it would be super expensive. So far I have been to Rothenberg, the Alps, Wursberg, and Nuremberg. That's right, my second weekend here I went snowboarding in the Alps that are so damn close. It was amazing, and the most beautiful thing I have ever seen(other than myself). Rothenberg was pretty amazing. I plan on going there this weekend so I can take some pics to post up on the net. This place is so stuck in the 80's too. I love it!!! Atleast musically speaking. There are alot of things here that I just don't see catching on in the states. Such as separating garbage. What a pain! Other than that, the beer is good so I'm happy.

My unit over here is fuckin' awesome!!! Pardon the french, but that's the only way to describe them. It feels more like a big ol' family than a bunch of people that I just happen to work with. Not to mention two of the guys from my "truck driving" class are here, and they like brothers almost now. It's amazing what kind of bonds build through hardship, or atleast when going through the same old bullshit. So I was thinking about this whole extended deployment times from 12 to 15 months, and I call bullshit. It just doesn't seem right. Families have a hard enough time when their mothers or fathers are gone for a six months to a year. It just seems like they want to find a breaking point. I'm just glad I don't have any kids. I couldn't imagine putting that kind of a burden on them like that. Oh well I guess. It's not really up to me to decide what's right or wrong, let alone be able to make people go and do that shit.

Well I have a "truck driving" physical tomorrow. So I guess I'll just write more when I get a chance. If any of you want my number that read this, just let me know and I'll send it to you. It's a vonage one so it'll be just like calling PA.

later~
