From the moment I sat in my car on my way back to EL I knew that something was going to happen to me involving it. I stopped on the side of the road and did a walk around trying to see if anything was wrong. Nothing was and by the time I parked it had escaped my mind. That is when it came. I the span of 30 minutes I went from worrying about calculus to wondering how I can breath and walk at the same time. Here's how it goes. I was getting my stuff out of the backseat when I took my keys out to keep them from falling out without my knowing thus locking them in the car. I got out and closed my window and sunroof and locked the door. Just as it closed I saw the keys still in the backseat. damn-it. I called a locksmith then sat on my car studying and listening to my headphones. When he showed up he started his routine then went back to the truck for a pen. That is when I noticed that my passenger window was wide open. Awestruck in my own stupidity I told the locksmith and judged by his reaction that he was on commission. So I offered to pay him for his troubles. $35 later I was carrying 2 hand fulls of computer and laundry into the apartment fumbling with every door. At my door I had no trouble getting the key into the lock but couldn't figure how to get it out. After of few minute struggle I decided that the rest of the day will be spent in dark seclusion save a short time for a run.
