it'd be much appreciated if anyone reading this might be able to come out to this. if you haven't heard them, carissa's wierd are a band from seattle that plays beautiful, extremely sad music in the tradition of bands like low and red house painters. things explode have a sort of garage-y, remotely pavement-y sound about them. finally i play guitar in the band anchors for architects...we are a five-piece with a violin that plays slow and pretty stuff with sporadic lapses into atonal noise. this is our last show before we go on tour for almost a month so if you've got nothing else to do this evening, come on out.
