Awww Jeremy I'm so sorry! It was so very much a spontaneous adventure. I'm very sorry that you weren't with us, but I also kind of felt like because you and I saw Say Anything and did that whole thing, Anty and I needed a BN fix. April 18th, 2004 was the last time we saw them - this was almost exactly a year later. It seemed too perfect to disrupt, and I reeeally hope you don't take it personally. It was just kind of... tradition. You know?
I'm not going to lie and say OH WE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT, because we did, but I mean, oh I don't know. It felt like a fuzzy secret. Hard to explain, harder to understand, I know.
The show was emmaculate, you would have rocked out I'm sure. We had a lovely time, and it only excites us both more for the show in June when all three of us will be in attendance. :)
And to your comment below this one - of course I don't hate you. And BY GOD you're not a burger! And ah, a part of me feels super bad that we didn't tell you about it like Thursday or whenever, but I think I'd feel even worse if we did tell you, and then told you it'd just be us going. :\
I feel like I'm making both you and I seem very selfish. And that kind of sucks.
We love you Jeremy, we just took a little girlish adventure. Moz played frisbee with all the cool college kids, and I met two super nice guys, one of which was blonde and nice and nice and nice and nice hehehe.
But guess what - there will be plenty of nice blonde guys to meet in Charlotte. June 24th, chico. :)

OKAY! THATS PERFECTLY ALRIGHT DON'T FEEL BAD AT ALL! when i saw that you and her went my heart stopped for a second because the very very very first thing that came to my mind without thinking about it was that i dunno you guys hated me and that made me feel sosososo sad and i didn't want you guys to hate me cause i love you guys so much!!!:))) cause you know you guys are the greatest thing on the planet to me ^_^ and I do wish you would have told me, but secrets are very nice to have and i understand that you and anty wanted to see them by yourselves since it was two years since you guys last saw them and plus they are you guys favorite band! not to say i don't love them extremely much! but they are you guys favorite band so its fine just like i said the first thing i thought of was like you guys hated me i dunno paranoid little thoughts i suppose. :) but i feel good that i'm not hated :) BUT i"M SOSOSOSO HAPPY YOU GUYS GOT TO SEE THEM!!! OH and happy easter! hehe i gots lots of neat stuff with birthday money and for easter! I'll tell you all about it later but anyways i'm releived now ^_^ Ignore the two pestering e-mails and I'm glad you met "pretty" people as you and anty refer to them hehe yes i suppose i'll see "pretty" people in charlotte too! But I am glad you and anty had a great time and your mom played frisbee and all, welllll hmm i guess thats all hehe But anyways! We don't hate you, Cornelius. We love you very much, as does The Moz with her frisbee skills of doom (she claims now to have a sore ankle and having lost four pounds in one day haha). We probably should have told you, but oh, I felt like it would have been really mean... And eh, you probably noticed something was a little strange anyway, what with my excitement over this infamous "Saturday!" and me trying so hard to hold it all in.
They're an amazing band, the best of all time to me, and the last thing they should be doing is splitting friendships, as lame as that sounds and as ironic, seeing as the whole John Nolan thing was enormous for a while... But honestly, I'm very glad to have seen them again, and I don't regret going because we had a wonderful, special time. Not to say it wouldn't have been special with you, actually, I'm really sorry that you didn't see some of the things that we did (I'll have to tell you about this old roadie guy making a Care Bear dance backstage ahahahahahahaha)... I can't WAIT for June 24th! And now that I know what to expect from the years' wait between shows and how they've changed, I can better prepare you for your first Brand New show. :] It all works out in the end. Human nature isn't entirely evil. ;]
OH GOSH the pretty people! Mannnn oh man I will have to tell you more about all the ones we met. Probably the nicest show-going kids we've ever met too! Well hm, I dunno, that guy from Florida when we saw Say Anything was indeed quite swell. I dunno. I'll just have to tell you. Hehe.
Ahhhh guess who else we saw there! Justin Field!! YES, youth guy Justin. BN had just finished and we were strutting away from the crowd when Anty said, "Hey is that Justin?!!" And I looked up and sureeee enough, 'twas him. So we started walking briskly toward he and his little college buddy circle of friends, and he looked up and sees us and goes, "CHELSEA!!!!!" :D It was so awesome! He was there with Josh Staton, they drove up that morning but their car broke down so he had to call some of his college friends and they picked him up and he got to the show only five minutes before Brand New went on, but they had a great time, blah blah blah... I gave them some strawberries and we talked for forever until the whole field was cleared. Good times. It was so nice seeing him again.
Then we noticed that some of our new fan friends from the day were still bumming around by a fence, waiting for the guys from BN to come out of their little backstage hiding. So we joined them, for a long time actually, but none ever came out. We saw Brian talking on his phone but we didn't want to bother him, and so we jumped a chain and started walking all confident-like around the building to look for Jess, Vin, and Garrett, (the blonde guy we were with stepped back some and said, "You're with me." :]), and WHOA, Brian puts down his little cellular that he'd been talking on for like 8 years and he says to us, "Thanks for coming!" :D It was great.
Then Moz got all mad 'cause she had no idea where we'd gone, hah.
Anyways. I'll just have to elaborate later, because none of this probably made any sense. :) Wish you could have been there!
