Yes! I am forever playing with that goddamn lime slice on a chain. Also, I am totally a nudist from 5pm Friday til Monday morning. It's a freedom thing.

But really: isn't that sentiment something of a standard for slow news days? "Remember those teenagers who were all 'fuck algebra!' ten years ago? Well now they are adults and participating in the economy and caring about stuff generally!" This idea has been dusted off every three weeks or so since the first instance of a hippie getting a real job. Is the idea that youth shifts into adulthood over time still news?

Maybe I had to be there?

It's a harbinger. It means they are about to take your childhood, repackage it, and then sell it back to you. But first they have to tell you that you are an adult, so that you feel ok about experiencing nostalgia.
