[It's Heather, of course she's gonna be up late and checking her messages.]

Gotcha. I'll leave in the morning. It's about a week's walk total so we'll probably meet sometime during the third day. Let's keep in touch, though-- make sure we're headed on a collision course and not straight past each other or something.

Yeah, I figured we should probably keep in touch. It isn't like this is just some road or anything. If that were the case traveling would be a lot easier.

Yeah. There's no real marked path, it's just straight-up wilderness for the most part. The GPS-y things on the PokeGears should help us keep track of where we are, though.

... You don't know what a GPS is?

[LEEEET'S DO THE TIIIIIME WAAARP AGAAAAAAAAIN! Heather had just sort of assumed he was from roughly the same time as she was. Of course, the fact that her father was from a whopping EIGHTEEN years before she was hadn't really factored into that equation-- James wasn't even from THAT long ago.]

It's like... just a function on there that can tell you where you are.

Oh. That map thing I take it?

[He had seen it before, just didn't know it was called something fancy like GPS or what not.]

Well yeah that made things easier for me on my way to Cherrygrove, so hopefully it'll be just as helpful, if not more so. I've been hearing this trek is a bit more of a pain.

Basically. As far as I know, it can locate people near you, too.

And yeeeah, not gonna lie, the walk's kind of a bitch. It's more uphill than the other one and the wildlife's meaner.

Well that's useful.

Oh great, well I'll be sure to stock up, I've made a decent amount from working all this time so I should be able to get a decent amount of stuff.

Yeah, I'd recommend Antidotes over anything else. You really don't wanna get poisoned while you're out there, that shit's nasty.

[Heather stop unknowingly convincing James that he is going to DIE on this trip.]

Poisoned? There are poisonous things? Like snakes?

[Little did James know, or remember, there are beedrill and other bugs along the way.]

Three words, man. Big. Ass. Bees.

[.... And then she took a moment to chuckle at the words she'd just typed. Heh heh. Ass-bees.]

[CAPSLOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH D:]

In THIS world there are.

When I headed out for Violet, someone had pissed off a whole swarm of them.

[DAMN RIGHT IT IS.]

I hope they aren't pissed off anymore. I really rather not deal with bugs of any variety, but especially giant bees.
