feelin' good today. got good music on my radio

today is fabulous.
today is the weigh in day for a team I joined through sparkpeople.
I am officially down 2.4lbs this week! I am going to GET those 8lbs off this month, no doubt.
I am sucking at eating breakfast every day, mostly because I sleep though it.

noah didn't have to go to work until 4PM today. although it sucks because it means he'll be at work til 4AM it did mean he had some time to take me to the grocry store. our cart was FILLED with healthy food. veggies, and fruit, and water, and part skim cheese, and all kinds of tasty goodies.
he made us a delicious (and healthy) lunch: tuna&crabstick salad on a pita with cucmbers. I had an orange on the side and drank and entire liter of water (another goal that I am totally on track for).

I browsed the sparkpeople website looking for fun workouts... I decided to do a few short ones today (I did an hour's worth of DVD workouts yesterday and needed a little cooldown today. I did a 10 min cardio kickboxing workout that sure did get my heart rate up. then I did a 10 minute crunchless ab workout. uhm, it jut about killed me. I am going to be SO sore tomorrow. but it feels good to feelt that burn. after my workout I treated myself to a nice luxurious bubble bath. now I'm enjoying a tasty snack of peanut butter and carrots with a coke zero. why is peanut butter so damn delicious? I just want to eat the whole jar. but I didn't I had one (ok, it was heaping) tablespoon and put the jar away.

I'm planning on actually cooking myself dinner tonight, which is a rarity. I will cook when noah's going to be home with no hesitation... but I hate cooking just for me. this is something I need to work on. it will be good practice for me to cook for just me, plus it will keep the fridge stocked with tasty leftovers for lunches. tonight I'm going to walk over to the minimart and look for some brown rice. they're not really big on the "low-fat" "low-car" "whole wheat" "brown rice" type things over here, but I have my hopes up. I'm planning on making a tasty veggie wrap with brown rice and maybe a little hummus for dinner. I think that sounds like a very tasty dinner.

then I'm going to come back and watch a movie and relax. my mom suggested that I start thinking about our wedding registry, so maybe I'll do that too.
