Recs: In-Progress Fic (Sherlock/John)
I know people prefer complete fics in general but for those who may be curious over what I'm flailing over on Twitter every so often...
Almost complete:
[Potentially Abandoned] The Everthere (Currently PG-13 ish but it may become NC-17) Virgin!Sherlock starts dating Daniel. John really wanted to be Sherlock's first. His jealousy would be easier to ignore if Sherlock would stop coming to him for advice, being unsure of what Daniel expects of him.
Lots of angst but it improves. Warning: have tissues or ice cream handy
[Now Complete] The Theory of Narrative Causality (R) Sherlock is a well-known fanartist whose online antics always land him on fandom_wank. John's a beloved BNF fanfiction author. They meet at a convention; geeky love ensues.
I'm not entirely sure why I love this fic so much but I'm def not alone in this, there is even fic of this fic (fiception) so a must!
[Now Complete] 5 Times Sherlock Observed John and the 1 Time He Told John His Observations (Once again PG-13 with potential for NC-17) Sherlock thinks John is one handsome, sexy devil and isn't afraid to tell him so when they're shagging.
I quite like this one as it focuses on what Sherlock thinks makes John brilliant. John flailing over Sherlock is too common.

Till Now I Never Knew (PG maybe borderline PG-13?) Swan Princess AU although with a Sherlock twist
Well I loved Swan Princess as a kid (still do) so it was a no brainer but even that aside it's shaping up to be a brilliant fic
[Potentially Abandoned] Untitled (PG-13/ R with future possibility of NC-17) D/s AU John Watson is a Dom who makes his business by 'taming' or 'educating' overly willful subs that families don't really want to have to deal with any more. Sherlock Holmes is a willful sub who his older brother Mycroft doesn't really want to have to babysit anymore. Mycroft, of course, knows of the above professional and enlists his services.
I love D/s universe and wilful sub!Sherlock is a def bonus. Also includes Jealous&confused!Sherlock ;D
[Potentially Abandoned] Untitled(PG) Arranged Marriage AU The Watson family needs to marry a child to the Holmes family in order to maintain their status as nobility. Harry Watson was betrothed to Sherlock, but eloped with Clara, so now John has to take her place (literally, dresses and all).
I just adore arranged marriages that end happily and macho John trying to fake being a woman in front of the observant Sherlock? Yeah well good luck with that one John, although you are adorable while trying.

He Who Believes (To be NC-17) God AU Sherlock is a god who has taken a human form because being a god just doesn't carry the same perks it used to. John is one of the last remaining members of a religious order who worship Sherlock. Except John doesn't know this (yet)
Well this author did update regularly but she's had a bit of RL issues but she says the stuff holding her back is almost over so updates should start up soon *fingers crosses* Also FANTASTIC fic thus far
[Potentially Abandoned] Starved For Your Touch (PG-13 to be NC-17) Sherlock is touch starved. It's been years, literally years, since someone last touched him. Enter John, who has always been physically affectionate with people. He notices how Sherlock goes quiet and leans into John whenever John touches him, even the most cursory of touches. John sets out to make up for all the time Sherlock spent alone. Cuddles, petting, playing with his hair, kissing him and touching him all over.
Basically if you love fluff and relationships that take awhile to progress to sex rather than OMG I LOVE YOU LET'S GET NAKED this is a good fic for you :D
