Recs: Summer TV (Part 2)

Summary: Michelle, a Las Vegas showgirl marries a man on a whim and moves to his sleepy coastal town where she winds up working alongside her new mother-in-law at her dance school.
My Thoughts: Urgh my ship. It sunk in like an ep. Hilarious show though. BRILLIANT one liners. If you liked Gilmore Girls then this show should be your kind. The main character is a lot like Lorelai. Also if you like this, watch Gilmore Girls. Great thing is, thus far, like no dating. Both main characters are single and pretty much no guy action. It's more about their lives and four of the girls they teach. Makes a nice change. Btw Kelly Bishop is my favourite, so nice to see her in a series again.

The Closer
Summary:Deputy Police Chief Brenda Johnson runs the Priority Homicide Division of the LAPD with an unorthodox style. Her innate ability to read people and obtain confessions helps her and her team solve the city's toughest, most sensitive cases.
My Thoughts: Only up to season 2. I pretty much hated the first half of season 1 but I'm really starting to like it. The main character is sooooo annoying sometimes though. I don't particularly like her. Especially as she eats with her mouth open. Bleh. Plot is awesome though. If you like crimes shows, it's worth a look.

The New Normal
Summary: A single mother's life as she becomes a surrogate for a gay couple.
My Thoughts: Technically a fall show but I just watched the first two eps but quite a good show thus far. Not sure how it will turn out (think it has the same writer as Gleee, urgh) but the main couple are adorable. One of them is stereotypical while the other isn't (He's into sports and sci-fi). It's a bit cheesy but I'm enjoying it a lot thus far.

Teen Wolf
Summary:A somewhat awkward teen is attacked by a werewolf and inherits the curse itself, as well as the enemies that come with it.
My Thoughts: The names and the fact it was MTV put me off but then a lot of people I share interests with are obssessed with it so I thought I'd give it a go. Hated the first few eps. Got into it though. Still not sure about plot. It's okay but so messed up at times. It's not quite what you expect though. I mean it seems that way at the start but there is quite a lot of action and a range of characters. Urgh Stiles and Derek though. MAH BABIES. Stiles is hilarious and I want one. The cast are awesome. I love them so much ;-; If you're looking for a new show, give it a go. Btw some of the fandom, a tad crazy. Just a heads up. Then again I suppose the same is true for all.
