About: A David and Goliath law drama about a drug-addicted lawyer who takes on a health supply corporation while battling his own personal demons.
My Thoughts: Wasn't sure about this film from the descript but the trailer caught my interest. I enjoy films based on true stories, prob because I feel like I may learn something. Well with this one I did. I spent most of it shocked, I mean I knew the business world was cut throat but wow. Evans' acting in this film is superb and most (if not all) of the reviews seem to agree. If you like fact based films and can handle drug use and angst I def recommend it. I'll just be over here depressed that it's not available on DVD in the UK.

Only You (1994)
About: Faith believes she is destined to spend her life with a man named "Damon Bradley." Just days before she is to marry a podiatrist she may not love, she receives a phone call from a friend of her fiance's named, Damon Bradley. Bradley is on his way to Venice, and Faith decides to spend her Labor Day weekend pursuing her dream man.
My Thoughts: The trailer looked awesome and I love Marisa. The film was pretty cool but the romance scenes were so over the top with fluff I think I got a cavity. It does confirm RDJ s in fact just Stark playing an actor. His plot in this film has Stark all over it.

Restoration (1995)
About: An aspiring young physician, Robert Merivel found himself in the service of King Charles II and saves the life of a spaniel dear to the King. Merivel is ordered to marry one of the King's mistresses in order to divert the suspicions of another one of his mistresses. He is given one order by the king and that is not to fall in love.
My Thoughts: Had never heard of this film but it looked awesome. Well it was pretty awesome. It was pretty sad though, I was sobbing into my dinner towards the end. If you like period films I recommend this one. RDJ is awesome as per usual.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005)
About: A murder mystery brings together a private eye, a struggling actress, and a thief masquerading as an actor.
My Thoughts: This was quite a bizarre film but enjoyable none the less. I must admit I prob wouldn't have liked it as much if RDJ wasn't narrating. Also it turns out I looovvveee the way he says 'fuck' *has no shame* Also soooo many corpses. Sweet bejesus.

Due Date (2010)
About: High-strung father-to-be Peter Highman is forced to hitch a ride with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay on a road trip in order to make it to his child's birth on time.
My Thoughts: I honestly don't' quite know how I feel about this film. I liked it but I think that's mainly because of RDJ and his character but at the same time Ethan drove me nuts. I'm guessing that's what they wanted but still, he made me soooo mad. Rage aside it was hilarious though.

Dirty Dancing (1987)
About: Spending the summer in a holiday camp with her family, Frances ('Baby') falls in love with the camp's dancing teacher.
My Thoughts: If you'd asked me before this rewatch I prob would have give it a 6.0 or something but that's because I last watched it as a kid. After a rewatch with a mate I realized how utterly ridiculous it is. Sweet bejesus I couldn't take it seriously. Not tha it's terrible, I just found it more funny than dramatic/ romantic.

Prometheus (2012)
About: A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
My Thoughts: I don't see what the hype was about, although as per usual the effects were nice and it was def pretty to watch. The plot etc itself, not so much. I found it way too predictable.
[(spoilers ahead)] I think it would have been far more interesting if this was how the Alien came about. At least I'd feel like there was a purpose to the film. I'm resenting the fact that there's a sequel because my curiosity is piqued but I don't wanna D:
P.S. Fassbender is epic in this (surprise, surprise) playing an android can't be easy. So much control over the body and it was perfect *-*
