I rarely read fics outside of the Sherlock (BBC) fandom but occasional I do so thought I'd rec some of my favs.
Sherlock Holmes (non BBC)
Holmes/ Watson
Through The Unknown, Unremembered Gate (PG) Anniversaries, in different eras and for different milestones.
Untitled (PG-13/ R) Watson wants to learn some basic phrases in French. Obviously, Holmes is the ideal teacher. Holmes teaches him phrases- dirty phrases (saying they mean the most innocent things) and makes Watson look him in the eyes and repeat them. Watson soon realizes his words are affecting Holmes more than a simple greeting would.
Roll Away Your Stone (NC-17) Seventeen-year-old John Watson is set to finish his final year of school with a flourish, until the headmaster assigns John as a "tutor" to an arrogant, yet brilliant new student named Sherlock Holmes. Holmes is not about to be put in his place by this popular rugby football player with the too-blue eyes, and John isn't going to let this impulsive fifteen-year-old get away with anything. Neither expects to become friends, but a series of unexpected events and a possible murder mystery bring them closer together than either of them thought possible.
The Eagle
Marcus/ Esca
A Thousand and a Hundred More (PG-13) Esca is confused by this weird Roman custom of licking people's mouths, and asks Marcus to explain. Demonstrate. Something.
Along the Riverbank (NC-17) North of the wall, Marcus considered it. Now, he can do more than consider--Esca's his in ways more binding than those that bind a slave.
Whitechapel
Chandler/ Kent
Love the Circus (R) Chandler deals with his reaction to seeing his mild mannered DC rock the stage.
Sparks Fly (R) There are some decisions that stay with you, long after a case is closed.
Btw if you read any fics for Whitechapel, White Collar or The Eagle feel free to rec to me :D I'm sorely in need of more.
