I really adored the supernatural ethnic mythology behind this one, and the twist that it wasn't necessarily something evil. (A demonic but benevolent parasite that nevertheless reacts badly to 'Christo'? Never saw that coming!)

I'm so gleeful that you liked the mythology. I could ramble on for hours about the lore we built up on this, but I'll spare you, ahahah. Suffice to say we thought of the demon / parasite as sort of out of its rightful context, so it would have been seen as benevolent in the culture it came from, but still count as a demon in a Christian sense. *represses urge to ramble more*
