This weekend: On Saturday we went out to dinner with a friend of mine (from the KinderCrippe) and her boyfriend. It was pretty schnazzy. We were all dressed up. My hair looked crazy in it's short way because I blowed dried it...actually, I kind of looked like a clown, so I'm glad I didn't wear any bright red lipstick. On Sunday we went to a 'Light Festival'. Celebrating the longest night with tons of candle and lots of free flowing wine. That was fun. We each chose a tarot card as some of the girls played the piano. The whole time I kept on wishing that I had continued with my piano lesson from the age of 5. And guess what card I chose? Music!!! Guess what card the girl next to me chose? Music too. She had said earlier that her New Years Resolution was to delve more into singing. The night was filled of coincedences. And it snowed. We slept at Sito's moms house and woke up to more snow. We drove to the room in Dürnten and there was even more snow there! It is so beautiful to just sit on the windowsill and watch the snow falling.
I made 3 necklaces for my closest female friends in Switzerland. But I didn't make it to the Crippe (daycare) because Sito and I were getting into it about my lack of doing things. Then I reminded him that I had just gotten information on the studying I would like to do with disabled and old people. And that I also am planning on starting a course...next month!!!
Besides that, he's going to the US in February to do an internship with one of his colleagues. I have decided not to go since by that time I will be well into my course and hopefully working! But he kept on asking me why I won't go and I had to keep on reminding him....'Not Enough MONEY'. Needless to say, I was not in a good mood for most of this day. Surprise, surprise! Now I am better though. And we're getting our things done. Sometimes, I really just want to throw in a million towels and give up.
Alas, yes....things are moving forward. We are going to make people small pumpkin pies instead of going out and buying gifts. So, that's what we're gonna do right now! Everyone keep well and I wish to you all some pleasant days ahead...
