New stuff
I have been meaning to update for a while but have been busy with work, why have I wanted to update so badly? Because I got some new toys of course!!
The UPS man was kind enough to drop off a box the other day and the contents of that box will help me get the 7 back on the road. The box contained a boost prepped Holley carb and plenum, now all I need is an intake manifold, exhaust manifold and an intercooler to get the motor fired up. Then I get to start work on the suspension which I am going to go with the coilover setup by Ground Control with the adjustable camber plates.
I am shooting for 350hp at the wheels and I think with this setup it is achievable. With that much horsepower and the car weighing about 2100lbs. I think the quarter mile will be covered in about 12 seconds, which is pretty damn fast.
Today the FedEx man dropped off a tube, in that tube was the newest (and most expensive) addition to my collection. Ariel's latest creation is an 8 point cue, 4 high of Ebony with Ivory inlays and the 4 low points being Thuya burl. In the A, B, C, D and E rings are Ivory tiffany diamonds and the wrap is a nice feeling leather, the retail for the cue would be about $3k. I am probably going to use it in the IPT qualifier if it hits good, later tonight I will put a shaft on it and take it for a test drive!!
