Tournament schedule update

Dec 31, 2005 10:29

They postphoned the UPA Tour finals in January at the Bicycle Club in California, but announced that one of the IPT Tour qualifiers will be at The Pool Room in Marietta, Ga.. They also made the announcement that the 2006 tour members will be making $13k that year in prize money even if they never win a match. And if you make the Top 100 in 2006 you keep your tour card for 2007 in which they guaranteed you will make $100k in prize money and endorsements.

To prepare I am reading more, practicing more, changing my diet, walking more, drinking less and of course trying to save up the $2k for the qualifier entry fee. This is the stuff dreams are made of, but like any dream that becomes a reality hard work and dedication are needed.

Looks like my cue collection is going to get smaller and I am going to become somewhat of a bore, but if I make the tour you better believe I am going to party like a mo-fo to celebrate. Making the Top 100 is going to be the easiest in 2006 so qualifying at this upcoming tournament is basically the best/only chance I will get.

So if I don't call anyone in the next month or so (not that I did anyway) I apologize, but for the next month I will be busy chasing my dream.
