I am waiting for the flash to go off
and for all the memories to be remembered,
burned into our minds forever...
and I am waiting
to see the looks on their faces that day
and to remember the smiles
for all eternity
and I am waiting
for good food, and good company
good stories and hearty laughter
and I am waiting
for the hopes and the dreams of the world to become real
and to know them when I see them
and I am waiting
for all that is, was, and will be
to still be there after...
even if I'm not...
and i am perpetually waiting for the fun to begin...
I am waiting to see the look on her face
and to know that that’s what it should be
and I am waiting
for the slow summer days
and the cold winter nights
and I am waiting
not just for you but for everyone else to arrive
and for the fun to finally begin
and I am waiting
to look at myself
and know that I am a better person
and to feel that everyone agrees
and I am waiting
for the winds of change
to change the flow of the world
and I always waiting for the fun to begin...
I am waiting for the warmth to spread
throughout everything,
and everyone
and I am waiting
for the wounds to heal
and all the pain to stop
and my heart to return to its former glory
and I am waiting
for the perfect day, with the right people at the right time
and to hope that it never ends
and I am waiting
for life to resume its natural course
and for everything to be alright again
and I am waiting
and always will be waiting
from now until the end of time
for the fun to begin...
so let it begin now... and let it never stop...
and I’ll never wait again...
