First of all, I think you did a really fantastic job here and in your last batch. Considering that you hadn't used Photoshop for a while -- those icons look really pretty! :D
I like your overall colouring on the Prison Break ones a lot. It's a very vibrant and warm colouring and I think it fits very well. I also like that you tried different croppings but I think after a while you should focus on 1-2 cropping variations only. At the moment it's ok, because you experiment a lot, but if you always post six icons out of one picture, just with different croppings, it could get a little boring. I know this is not easy and I hope it makes sense what I'm trying to say. xD One last rather unimportant thing to the Prison Break icons: I think you could be a little more creative (with textures, brushes etc.) because I know you can do it! Those stock icons of yours are so full of creativity -- it's brilliant. Your work with brushes and (light) textures is really great and I think you could use some of this brilliance on the Prison Break icons, as well. Or on other icons in general. :)
The stock icons are just fantastic, imho. Everything works very well together and the colouring on these is great, too. :D
Well, I hope I didn't insult you or anything because this definitely was not my intention and I hope this was "con-crit" enough. I'm not fantastic at icon-making but I hope it helps a little bit. I'm also snagging some Prison Break (#30 ♥) and some stock ones, many thanks!
And for cross-posting/pimping you may try communities like pbreak_icons, tvshow_icon or stock_icons. But there are probably a whole lot more out there :)
Oooo thank you! This is exactly what I was hoping for, and don't worry, you didn't offend me at all. Thank you so much for your advice with cropping, the next few sets will probably have one pic cropped a thousand times too, but after I get the next few out of the way I'll settle down a bit, ha ha. I find it hard adding texture, but I experimented a lot with these stock icons so I've gained a bit more experience now. Thanks for the links too! I'm really glad you enjoyed the icons, and again I really appreciate your comment and your honesty! :D
